| Because toadstools The challenge is to have most or all objects in-game have 2 material sets, maybe even 3 or 4, for each part of the day, Dawn, Noon, Evening, Night. There are more mushrooms yet to come, Some very large, and some medium but these ones will have much higher quality to them, and then there's that one particularly large, elderly mushroom... | |

| Each mushroom is a duplicate of the same model, and each model has only 208 faces (400 tris) and I know it could be significantly less and still maintain quite good quality in the texture but with computer systems nowadays these shouldn't be a problem at all | |

| Those look awesome, great job. I do agree with katsu about them looking a smidge too realistic though. | |

| Quick update, just working on the medium sized toadstools. Please note that I've increased the amount of polygons through a multiresolution modifier for rendering purposes only. The model is infact very efficient with correct edgeloops for details ensuring nice poly flow and upmost efficiency on video memory. Once textured this badboy will look really cool. For now this is just a quick preview of an idea I had. | |
