Black is kinda hard on my eyes. Can we get some lighter colors?

I actually like the black since I'm usually in a dark room and don't want too much light coming off my screen.

So is there a way to make it so we can have an option? Like a styles setting that lets members change the color for only themselves?

Black background with white text? That should be one of the easiest things to read? xD
So is it just straining on your eyes? Or is it just difficult to read the text?
If you have any suggestions on what you would like the colours to be, I would be more than happy to try them out.

Oooh I like the idea of having 2 pre-set colours. I will look into implementing that;D

I just kinda feel quite uncomfortable reading white on black. That and it would also be nice to have more options for the theme.

So I had a look into changing the white text on a black background, and it turns out the theme is being very strict. I can only turn some of the black into white, and those are the parts where hardly any text is. The only way I can see us having a fully white background is by having an entirely new theme. If thats what everybody wants, I guess we could get a new theme:)
I also had a look around for an option to switch between different colour schemes and it looks like the forum hosting isn't quite that fancy:/
